Ctrl + A  Select all text or objects in a window.
Ctrl + DownArrow  Move the insertion point to the beginning of the next paragraph
Ctrl + End Go to the bottom of a document
Ctrl + Home Go to the top of a document
Ctrl + LeftArrow  Move the insertion point to the beginning of the previous word
Ctrl + RightArrow  Move the insertion point to the beginning of the next word
Ctrl + Shift + [arrow keys] Highlight a block of text
Ctrl + Spacebar Removes formatting
Ctrl + UpArrow  Move the insertion point to the beginning of the previous paragraph
Shift + [arrow keys] Select more than one item in a window or on the desktop, or select text in a document
Ctrl + B Commonly used for bolding text
Ctrl + C (Ctrl + Insert) Copies the current selected text to the clipboard 
Ctrl + I Commonly used for italicizing text
Ctrl + U Commonly used for underling text
Ctrl + V (Shift + Insert) Pastes the text from the clipboard
Ctrl + X (Shift + Delete) Cuts the current selected text to the clipboard
Ctrl + Y Redo last action
Ctrl + Z Undo last action
Alt + ESC  Cycle through items in the order that they had been opened
Alt + F4 Closes the active program
Alt + PrtScn  Copies an image of the current window/dialog to the clipboard
Alt + Shift + ESC  Cycle through items in the reverse order that they had been opened
Alt + Spacebar  Display the System menu for the active window
Alt + Tab* Move forward or backwards through the applications load in your computers memory.
Ctrl + Alt + Delete Runs the Task Manager
Ctrl + ESC  Display the Start menu (WinKey Substitute)
Ctrl + F4 Closes the active window of an MDI (Multiple Document Interface) program
Ctrl + F6* Cycle forward or backward though all the open document windows in a single program, like Microsoft Word.
Ctrl + Shift + ESC  Displays the Task Manager
Ctrl + Tab* Switch to the next child window of an MDI (Multiple Document Interface) program
ESC  Cancel the current task
F1 Display Help
F4 Display the items in the active list
F5  Refresh the active window
PrtScn  Copies an image of the current screen to the clipboard
Shift + F10  Display the shortcut menu for the selected item (Application Key Substitute)
F10 or Alt Activate the menu bar in the active program
Left Arrow  Open the next menu to the left, or close a sub-menu
Right Arrow  Open the next menu to the right, or open a sub-menu
